Hey there. I was having some fun with Alchemy this evening can conjured up some unique busts. This is for another zbrushworkshops.com class (3D Concepting for Production). Alchemy, available at http://al.chemy.org/, is a stress-free way to get random shapes and I've found it to be a good way to break "writer's block" in the past. Using it again tonight opened up a lot of possibilities for a project.

This is a cartoony catapult I made in maya and zbrush. It was painted with Polypaint and Projection Master. I was working on getting this object to look functional yet wonky.
I'm taking a couple of classes here: http://www.zbrushworkshops.com/
These are with the instructors Kris Costa and Justin Goby Fields This is a quick assignment to refresh what the human skull is doing. This was quick and fun. Adding a couple of images from Passcode. These are a few screens that have helped define a good style for moving forward. More progress soon.
More progress made on the Wiseguy character. Below I've started blocking in some red, yellow, and blue areas to indicate different surfaces, recesses, and anatomical structures. Here's a video I found for reference today. The texturing practices of the vampire prosthetic mask definitely apply here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2RIqKCeNJw
More progress to come on this, in the coming week. More progress on Cookie Passcode, here. It's fun to see these little characters come alive. Here are a few quick GIF anims of the milkman and a couple monsters.
Ryan and I have been making some progress on our little game. Below is an image of the splash/start screen. More images of gameplay on on their way next.
I found a few more sketches from another shelved project from a couple of years ago. these are fun so I wanted to share them.
