Zbrush 2D Quick-Sketch Robots

After watching the following quick video at zbrushworkshops, I decided to give the zbrush 2D sketching a chance. http://www.zbrushworkshops.com/offers/sketching-quick-ideas/?inf_contact_key=554f81dc2476d2b6ab42c53ac9f875ee5d3096a8a53eaea3d4145e05904bc826(Daniel Bystedt is the artist in the video)

The sketching was quick, painless and potentially very useful. Usually when exploring symmetrical forms, I've used a program called Alchemy, http://al.chemy.org/.  It hasn't been updated in a while and is a little clunky, but generally the forms created feel random and authentically sketchy. Likely I'll use both in the future. Take a look at some polypaint sketches below.

I'm glad that you've dropped by. I'll be periodically posting fun sketchy work here. Below is a quick sketch of a pinup girl I did earlier this week.  I really enjoy the work done by XAV, talented a French animator and artist whose blog is located here: http://sushixav.blogspot.com/
I wanted to try out his dry brush style here is the result. More work to come soon.

These are the things I sketch in my spare time. Enjoy!
